Visit the Skudeneshavn Museum and Old Skudeneshavn

For cruise tourists arriving at the Port of Haugesund, we offer a complete experience in Old Skudeneshavn. All ships make stops in Skudeneshavn, and Guidecompaniet and Nordic Gateway organize bus tours with knowledgeable guides year-round.

Visitors are treated to a guided tour of this unique, historic coastal town dating back to the 19th century. Knowledgeable, multilingual guides provide insights into the town’s history, seafaring traditions, trade, and daily life in this former pilot and sailing ship town.

For those who want to see Old Skudeneshavn from the water, several boats offer SUP tours in Skudeneshavn. Some boats also include a visit to Lundins Hotel, where you can experience the former glory of Skudeneshavn.
